GUARDADO FAMILY BIOGRAPHY
They were born in the province of La Libertad, in the central area of El
Salvador in Central America. They were married on the 20 of June of 1980. God
blessed them with two pretty sons and one precious girl: Juan Francisco was born
on the 19 of June of 1981, Claudia Elizabeth was born the 17 of March of 1983
and Sergio Jose was born on the 25 of September of 1985.
At an early age, Fidelina began as a catechist in the Roman Church. She
developed her ministry as a leader of women in the Episcopal Church of El
Salvador, from 1985 to 1990. In 1991 God called her to work with her husband in
Honduras, where not only did she experience the power of Jesus Christ in her
personal life, but she was filled with the Holy Spirit and developed her
personal evangelism ministry. Along with the pastor and his team, Fidelina
continued to developed her ministry in Honduras from 1991 to 1999 serving as a
lay pastor, and preaching the Word of God in different churches from the Eastern
zone to the North coast of Honduras. In the North coast of Honduras she was
moved by the Holy Spirit while she worked in the Life Encounters, along with the
pastoral team of the Reverend Francisco Guardado. In August of 1999 she was
called to work along with her husband in the pastoral ministry of the Episcopal
Church of the Resurrection in Tucson, Arizona. In August of 2003 God moved her
from the Episcopal Church and raised her up to a higher level of faith in
Christ, by means of baptism by immersion. In October of the 2003 she moved to
Irving, Texas to serve with her husband in Christian ministry, outside the
religious spheres.
Reverend Francisco studied in the Roman Catholic Seminary Fray Junípero Serra in
the Planes of Renderos, San Salvador, El Salvador, from 1983 to 1978. It was
there that he began as a preacher in the local churches of the municipality of
Panchimalco. In 1978 he received Bachelors Degree in Sciences and Humanities at
the Institute Salesiano Rinaldi of San Salvador. In 1979 he entered an
association of one of the smaller Franciscan friars in the capital of Guatemala,
where he remained from January to April of that year. There he served as
preacher in a church in the area. Having felt the leading of God, he left the
association in April of the same year and he moved to San Salvador. In 0ctober
of 1979 he began his career in banking with the Banco de Comercio (the Commerce
Bank), where he worked until Julio of 1985. In spite of being very active in his
religion, he felt that something was lacking in his life. He was called by God
during a retreat in November of 1983. After experiencing the love of God at the
retreat, he accepted Christ as Lord and Savior. In 1984 he entered the Anglican
seminary of the Episcopal Church of El Salvador.
In August of 1985, he left work with the Banco de Comercio to dedicate himself
to full time ministry as pastor. He was ordained as Deacon on the 19th of
November of 1986 in San Salvador and as priest on the 16th of October of 1987.
In El Salvador, he served as pastor of the Churches of San Pedro and San Pablo
in Agachapan and Florida in Santa Ana. In addition he founded the churches of
Santísima Trinidad, Santa Virgin Maria, San Andrés Apóstol in San Salvador, San
Mateo and San Francisco de Asís in La Libertad. Additionally reverend Guardado
studied Educational Sciences at the University of El Salvador from 1988 to 1990.
In 1991, he was called to serve in the Episcopal Diocese of Honduras where he
served as pastor and supervisor for several churches in the Eastern section of
the Country.
Having developed as liberal priest, Reverend Guardado did not know the Holy
Spirit, nor believed in the spiritual gifts. In 1991 he was baptized with the
Holy Spirit and was changed from a liberal priest to a priest who believes the
Word. Since then he followed the leading of the Holy Spirit with the support of
God. Along with his family they establish in Danli, El Paraiso, La Iglesia del
Rey (the Church of Christ the King) and the Church of the Resurrection in the
city of El Paraiso, a section of El Paraiso.
In January of 1995, the Guardado family moved to the north coast of Honduras (Omóa,
Cortes), where they energetically established the evangelistic ministry in
several churches, where they brought in a great harvest of souls for Jesus
Christ.
In August of 1999, a major change occurred in the Guardado family, they were
called to serve in the ministry of La Iglesia de la Resurrección (Church of the
Resurrection) in Tucson, Arizona. They served God there until December 2001.
On the 17th of March, 2002, Reverend Guardado and his son, Juan Francisco, took
a radical step of faith. Having been convinced of God they decided to be
baptized by immersion in water. Since then, a great change has come over them.
On the 2nd of October, 2002, Reverend Guardado was called to serve as assistant
pastor for the Hispanic congregation of Santa Maria Church in Irving, Texas.
From the beginning of his ministry he preached salvation by faith in Jesus
Christ. Many members came to know Jesus Christ. Sadly though, the preaching of
the Gospel was not accepted by the leaders of the Church, especially when the
Holy Spirit started moving. Due to his commitment in his faith in the Word of
God, in Jesus Christ as his only Savior and intermediary for us before the
Father, Reverend was dismissed on the 26 of May, 2003.
Joyful to suffer in the name of Jesus Christ, pastor Guardado left the Santa
Maria Episcopal Church and began to teach the Word of God in one of the parks of
the city of Irving. In September of the 2003, after finding out apostasy of the
Episcopal Church, he resigned from the priesthood and dedicated himself to
missionary work within the Hispanic community in the United States.
