OUR DOCTRINAL FOUNDATION

TEMPLE OF FAITH is a part of a Christian Fraternity of Faith (Faith Christian Fellowship International), which is an association of Christian churches in the Body of Christ.

We are a church that believes, preaches, and practices the Word of Faith as it is taught in the Holy Scriptures (The Bible).

TEMPLE OF FAITH’S FOUNDATIONAL DOCTRINE

·       The Bible is the mind of Christ. It is the only Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, infallible and the authority all matters of faith, doctrine and practice.

·       There is only one God who manifests Himself in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

·       Satan exists and also controls all persons who have not been regenerated by God.

·       Christianity is based on the following:

1.      The divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ

2.      His sinless life.

3.      His miracles.

4.      His sacrifice of substitution through the shedding of His blood.

5.      His physical resurrection.

6.      His ascension to the right hand of the Father.

7.      His second coming in power and glory as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

8.      The fall of man and his lost state makes a new birth necessary through confession and faith in Jesus Christ.

9.      The reconciliation of man with God through the sacrifice on the cross and the shedding of Christ’s blood.

10.  The resurrection of all believers into eternal and blessed life in heaven, and the resurrection of the unbelievers for eternal punishment through the torment of Hell.

11.  The natural and supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit, who has distributed spiritual gifts (word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healings, miracles, prophecy. discernment of spirits, gift of tongues and interpretation of tongues) among believers since Pentecost, and will continue until the day of the second return of Jesus Christ.

12.  The Baptism by immersion, previous conversion and confession, administered in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and the Lord’s Supper are the only sacraments or decrees given by Christ to His Church.
