THE REASON FOR OUR MINISTRY

Jesus Christ set forth in Mark 16:15-16 (NLT), “15 And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. 16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved.” In Matthew 28:18-20 He gives us the final commandment: “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The objective of TEMPLE OF FAITH is to fulfill the commandment of Christ, which is to preach the Word of salvation to all persons who do not believe, so that they will have the opportunity to receive eternal salvation in Christ and be able to demonstrate it though their walk of Christian faith.

THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION

In this overview we will try to present in concise form the greatest truth of the universe. In few words, we will present the fundamental reason why our celestial Father sent to his Son Jesus Christ into this world.

GOD LOVES YOU

There is one reality which cannot be negated: God loves us. The Bible says in John 3:16, “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that all who would believe in Him, would not perish, but have eternal life.” God loves each of us without exception. He loves us because He created us similar Him. God made us in His image and likeness. You have been created in the image of God (Genesis 1:16-27). A fundamental point is that God’s love is eternal and does not change (Jeremiah 31:3). In other words, God’s love include the good and bad, the just and sinners. It doesn’t matter what you have done or are doing, God loves you.

UNREQUITED LOVE

Maybe you say, “It’s good that God love me.” But I have a question for you, “Have you retuned His love?” The Bible teaches that human beings have not loved God in return. In Isaiah 53:6, the Bible says that we all have been lost like sheep, each of us following our own road. There is not one person who has been faithful to God.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF SEPARATING OURSELVES FROM GOD

Maybe you’re saying, “I’m not a Christian and nothing is happening to me. On the contrary, I am doing well all around.” Please allow me to explain the eternal and terrible consequences that will result when you separate from God. To begin with, God says in Isaiah 59:2 that the wrongs committed by us have caused a gap between God and us, and no matter how hard we try we cannot reach God using our own means. Some attempt to come to God by religious jeans, others through philosophy, still others through the use of witchcraft and the occult. God says in Romans 3:23 that it is impossible to come to Him using our own means, because we all have sinned and are in a state of separation from the saving presence of God. To make matter worse, this separation leads to spiritual death (Romans 6:23). In other words, there is a spiritual gulf that separates us from God. Maybe you wonder why you should care about the spiritual, since it doesn’t seem necessary for being alive. That is precisely the point: God has created you not only to live on this planet, for to live forever. The Bible teaches in Revelations 2:12-15 that at the end of times (that is to say when all persons will have to stand before God), the books will be opened, and those not found in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire, which will never be extinguished. Isn’t it a sobering thought to realize that our life is short, and that sooner or later we will have to stand before God?

A SECOND CHANCE FROM GOD

According to the above, human horizons seem darker and hopeless, and in fact they are. The good thing about all of this is that God has always been merciful and has provided us a second chance. In spite of sin, God was moved by His love and sent Jesus Christ to die for our salvation. You may think that you have been such a big sinner that you will never have another chance. The Bible states the following: “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that all who believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” The Bible tells us that God is love (1 John 4:8), He showed His love through His Son Jesus Christ, who being God became man to give us eternal life. Some people will say that they are not good enough to deserve eternal life. The truth is that no one is good enough to be saved. God offers salvation to us simply because He loves us. In Romans 5:8 we find that God showed His love for us in that even though we were sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus who was righteous died for us who are not righteous so He could bring us to God (1 Peter 3:18). “Isn’t this such a great act of willingness which God has done for us?”

THE DECISION IS YOURS

Up to this point you may say to me, "I am not a bad person. I don’t steal, or kill, and I don’t do wrong to other people. So maybe God will take me to heaven because I am good.” Another person may say, “I confess my sins every week and I go to church, so therefore I will go to heaven.”  God lets us know through Ephesians 2:8-10, that we arte saved by grace through faith; and not of our works. Another person may still say, “I am following the religion of my parents, and I don’t need anything else.” Let me tell you that there is only one road to find eternal life. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the father but by me.” What is it that God is expecting of you so that you may get eternal life? I tell you that all you have to do is accept Christ into your life. Jesus says in John 1:12 that to all who receive and believe in His name, God has the gift of eternal life. Jesus says in John 3:47, that all who believe in Him have eternal life. Therefore the decision to enter into eternal life with Christ is yours.

Would you like to pray to God and be saved? If you have decided to accept Christ as your Lord and personal Savior, I want to encourage you to take a few moments and pray in the following manner.

LORD GOD, I THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT LOVE FOR ME. THANK YOU THAT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT SERVED YOU, YOU HAVE STILL LOVED ME. TODAY I COME BEFORE YOU TO ASK YOU TO HAVE MERCY ON ME. I HAVE LIVED APART FROM YOU AND HAVE NOT OBEYED YOU. I AM A SINNER AND RECOGNIZE THAT I HAVE LONG LIVED FAR FROM YOUR LOVE. I BELIEVE THAT CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS SO THAT I WOULD BE FORGIVEN FOR MY SINS, I BELIEVE THAT HE SHED HIS BLOOD TO SAVE ME FROM ETERNAL CONDEMNATION.

LORD GOD, TODAY I REPENT OF ALL MY SINS, I COME TO YOU WITH A BROKEN HEART AND HUMILITY. FORGIVE ME, LORD, AND ERASE ALL MY WRONGS. HELP ME BE STRONG ENOUGH TO STOP SINNING.

LORD JESUS, I BELIEVE IN YOU, I ACCEPT YOU IN MY LIFE AS MY ONLY LORD AND SAVIOR. COME INTO MY LIFE AND TAKE CONTROL OF IT. HELP ME TO FOLLOW YOUR STEPS AND OBEY YOU AS LORD OF MY LIFE.

HOLY FATHER, I HEREBY DECLARE MYSELF YOUR CHILD AND RECEIVE THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE. WRITE MY NAME IN THE BOOK OF LIFE AND COUNT ME AS ONE OF YOUR CHILDREN. IN THE NAME OF JESUS, AMEN.

If you prayed with all your Herat in faith, you are a child of God. You have also received the gift of eternal life. Trust in the Word of God that says, “Heaven and earth will cease to exist, but my words will never cease to fulfill themselves.”

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NOW?
